Tanker assist to Gap on a Chimney Fire

At 2:13PM on Saturday, February 14, Tanker 4-9 was dispatched to assist the Gap Fire Company (Station 4-2) on a chimney fire in the 5700 block of Umbletown Rd in Salisbury Township. Upon the response of Deputy 4-2 (Wenger), Lancaster County 911 advised that the reporting party had a fire in thier chimney with alot of smoke. \

Tanker 4-9 responded with 3 firefighters and staged on Umbletown Road in front of Truck 4-2 in case additional water was needed. The fire was placed under control at 2:46PM. Tanker 4-9 cleared the scene at 3:08PM. \
