Join the Annual White Horse Gallop 5K, 10K, and Community Day

Led by a dashing white horse, the Gallop will begin at the fire station and take runners through a scenic excursion over rolling farmlands traveling on Route 897 and Old Philadelphia Pike. The race finishes with a free community day celebration featuring activities for all ages including fire engine and ambulance “touch-a-truck” opportunities, a bounce house, candy drop from a ladder truck, safety demonstrations, and a helicopter landing by Pennsylvania State Police.

Breakfast will be available from 6:30-10:00 AM with sandwiches and breakfast bowls along with a coffee bar serving lattes and spritzers. Lunch will be available from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM featuring pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, and fries.

Proceeds from the White Horse Gallop will support the White Horse Fire & EMS station expansion.

The White Horse Gallop was initiated to promote healthy individuals to support strong families and servant communities. Races will be held rain or shine. Early registration ensures the lowest participation cost however walk-up registration will be accepted if space is allowed. Online registration closes on race day at the race start time.

Advanced registration also secures your White Horse Gallop t-shirt.

Check-in and bib pick-up for the Fun Run, 5K, and 10K will be held at the White Horse Fire Station (111 White Horse Road Gap, PA 17527) on Friday, May 22 from 1-7:30 PM and will open at 6:30 AM on race day.

Breakfast will be available for purchase from 6:30-10:00 AM with sandwiches and breakfast bowls along with a coffee bar serving lattes and spritzers.

We recommend arriving no later than 1 hour prior to your race start time. This provides ample time for parking and packet pick-up.

Race participants will have about 2- 2 1/4 hours to complete the course.

Strollers are permitted and welcome.  However, we ask that anyone with a stroller start at the back of the race for the safety of all participants.

An awards ceremony will immediately follow the race recognizing the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group from 9 & under/ 10-14 / 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60-69 / 70+.

Refreshments are available for all finishers and everyone – including non-runners – are invited to stay for a free Community Day celebration with fun activities for all ages. Lunch will be available for purchase from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM featuring pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, and fries.

Pre-registered 5K and 10K runners will receive a White Horse Gallop t-shirt and goodie bag. Additional t-shirts may be supplied to walk-up runners while supplies last.
