On the evening of February 16, crews gathered at Station 4-9 and loaded up into Engine 4-9-1 and Squad 4-9 and headed to the recently renovated and expanded Country Gift and Thrift Shop on Old Philadelphia Pike in White Horse. \
\
Crews were given a tour of the 4 levels of the business, including the basement, first floor, second floor and attic, as well as the heating, cooling, water treatment and electrical rooms. Though the renovations are in progress, the buildings basic layout is completed.\
\
Preplanning a business like this is important because in the event of a fire, it is important for the crews to be familiar with the floor layout of the business and the location of the utilities rooms in order to minimize the hazards to the fire fighters and public alike, and also to assist in mitigating the emergency.\
\
Thank you to the management of the Country Gift and Thrift Shop for permitting us to tour your building!\
