Passing of Ladies Auxiliary President Nancy B. Wallace

It is with deep regret that the Salisbury Township Fire Company #1 announces the passing of Ladies Auxiliary President Nancy B. Wallace. Nancy went to be with the Lord on the morning of Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. We wish to extend our deepest condolences to Nancy’s family in their time of sorrow.\

Nancy was with the Ladies Auxiliary since 1965, and faithfully responded to many fire scenes to serve the firefighters with food and drink, as well as being at many of the fundraisers held by the company.\

“Nancy B. (Good) Wallace\
\
Nancy B. (Good) Wallace, 72, of 5340 Southview Dr., New Holland, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Truman Wallace.\
\
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Erma (Hafer) Good.\
\
For 50 years, she operated a tax service business and did bookkeeping. Earlier in life, she worked at Stoltzfus Meat Market.\
\
Nancy was president of the White Horse Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to the beach, swimming, playing cards, and getting together with her former classmates from New Holland High School.\
\
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children: Tonya married to Ken Arment, Troutman, NC; Troy married to Sharon (Ruhl) Wallace, New Holland; Trina married to William Haus, New Holland; Teala married to Bill O’Shea, Leola; and Twila Wallace companion of Gerald Gehman, New Holland; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Jean (Good) Hillard, New Holland; a brother Fred Good, CO; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Shaub, New Holland.\

She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. Good, Jr., and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Wallace.\
\
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, November 13, at 10 AM at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland with Rev. Jeffrey Frantz officiating. Interment will follow in Zeltenreich Cemetery.
