On the evening of December 10, Members of the Fire Company, Ambulance, and Ladies Auxiliary, and thier familes and guests, as well as officials from Salisbury Township, gathered at Station 4-9 for the company’s annual Christmas Banquet.\

Prior to the evenings meal, The Ladies Auxiliary had a special presentation to the family of Ladies Auxiliary President Nancy Wallace. Nancy passed away in November. The family was given a commorative plaque and an arrangement of yellow roses. A rememberance letter which was writeen to Nancy was also read aloud.\
\
The evenings meal was catered by Yoder’s Deli, and included ham, oysters, potatoes, beans and dessert.\
\
After the meal a brief intermission was held when Ambulance 4-9, Chief 4-9, and our standby for the evening, Honey Brook Engine 33-2, responded to a vehicle accident on Old Philadelphia Pike at 7:42PM. Fortunately there were no injuries and the units returned to the banquet.\
\
While the units were at the vehicle accident, another special presentation was held, This time it was by the fire company. The Fire Company dedicated Squad 4-9 to Nancy Wallace and Chief Emeritus L. Ross Parmer. After a brief background speech about Ross and Nancy, which was given by Deputy Chief & Fire Company President John Beyer, Deputy Chief Beyer and Safety Officer Christopher Eno presented Nancy’s family with a commemorative plaque. Unfortunately, Chief Parmer was hospitalized with an illness, and was unable to attend. His plaque was presented to him the following day in the hospital by Safety Officer Eno. A round of applause was given to Nancy and Ross by all in attendance at the banquet.\

After the presentation, the evenings entertainment was a comedian.\
\
