Ambulance crew helps deliver baby in Ambulance 4-9

On the evening of Monday, April 14th, Ambulance 4-9, along with Medic 6-12-10 (Lancaster EMS) were dispatched to a maternity call in Salisbury Township. As the call was dispatched during the monthly business meeting, the ambulance responded in less than one minute.\

After the ambulance arrived on the scene, and the crew loaded the mother into the ambulance, the baby decided not to wait until the hospital to make an appearance. The baby, a boy, made his entrance into the world in the back of Ambulance 4-9.\
