The Salisbury Township Fire Company #1 regrets to announce the passing of past Ladies Auxiliary member Virginia “Ginny” Spotts. We wish to extend our condolences to Ginny’s family and friends in their time of loss.\

The following is Ginny’s obituary as it appeared in the Lancaster Newspapers:\
\
Virginia May “Ginny” Spotts, 86 years, of New Holland, formerly of Narvon, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Ephrata Community Hospital, following an illness.\
\
She was born on May 2, 1924 in Caernarvon Twp., Lancaster Co. She was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Ella (Hurst) Harsh. She was the wife of the late Ellis C. Spotts, who died on Dec. 22, 1995.\
\
Virginia was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was also employed at Yoder’s Supermarket and was a volunteer at the Reuzit Shop both of New Holland. She was a member of the Limeville United Methodist Church and the ladies auxiliary of the White Horse Fire Co. She was also a Phillies baseball fan.\
\
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. “Bud” Spotts, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and a dear companion, Robert Ebelhar.\
\
Virginia is survived 2 daughters, Marilyn J. wife of Ralph Garver of Paradise and Beverly J. wife of Kent Hillard of New Holland; a sister, Frances wife of Louis F. Trego of Narvon. There are 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathon, EJ, and Wendy.\
\
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. with Rev. Keith Price officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Monday at the funeral home.\
