At 11:06 PM on Sunday, February 8, the Kinzer Fire Company, along with mutual aid, was dispatched to the 3400 block of Lincoln Highway east in Paradise Township for a commercial building fire. Chief 4-5 (Brubaker) whom lives in the area, spotted the fire and notified Lancaster County 911. \

At 11:24 Tanker 4-9 was dispatched as part of the second alarm assignment and responded in under a minute.\

At 11:30 Station 4-9 Fire Police were dispatched to assist in closing Lincoln Highway and divert traffic from the scene.\
\
At 11:43 Engines 4-9-1 & 4-9-2 were dispatched to assist. Both engines also responded in under a minute. Engine 4-9-1 staged on the east side of the scene with manpower, while Engine 4-9-2 was assigned to report to Denlinger’s Pond on Lincoln Highway East (across from Keim Chevrolet) to assist Engine 4-4-1 (Intercourse) with water supply for the tanker operations.\

Squad 4-9 later responded to the scene to assist the Fire Police with traffic control duties\

Fortunately there were no injuries and all of the livestock was safely moved away from the fire.\

The fire is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshalls Office.\
\
The final units cleared the scene at 6:03AM.\
