At 9:44 AM on Monday, December 30, Station 49 was dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Mount Vernon Road in the Buena Vista section of Salisbury Township for a CO (Carbon Monoxide) Alarm activation.
Units arrived and found a malfunctioning gas fire hot water heater as the source of the elevated levels.
After ventilating the residence, the scene was turned over to the homeowners.
