On Tuesday December 31, Phase 2 of the Lancaster County Fire/EMS station renumbering project will become effective, with the renumbering of the county EMS stations.
As you may or may not remember, on August 1, 2012, all county Fire Stations were renumbered (see link below). Now it is the EMS companies’ turn.
Some stations will simply drop the dash from their numbers, while others will receive a completely new number.
Station 4-9 EMS is one of the stations that is simply dropping the dash. Ambulance 4-9 will become Ambulance 49.
