Station 4-9 participates in Volunteer Fire & EMS Appreciation Week at Bird-In-Hand Restaurant

On Thursday, May 10, we again loaded up into Engine 4-9-1 and headed back up to the Bird-In-Hand Restaurant to participate in the Restaurant’s annual Volunteer Fire & EMS Appreciation Week. Each night, Monday through Friday, different equipment was on display, and different activities were offered to the public.\

Wednesday evening we participated in the annual Zone 4 Competition, which is hosted by the Restaurant as part of the week’s festivities. Thursday evening we went up to display Engine 4-9-1 to the public, and answer questions. \

We would like to thank the Bird-In-Hand Restaurant for providing Engine 1’s crew with vouchers for dinner, and a free game of miniature golf at the golf course behind the Restaurant.\
