Engine 4-9-2 runs 3 calls in Chester County

At 12:02 PM on Wednesday, March 19, Engine 4-9-2 was dispatched to transfer to the Wagontown Fire Company (Station 35), while they were at a working garage fire on Route 82 in West Brandywine Township.\

Just as Engine 2 was arriving at Station 35, they were dispatched at 12:24 to cover Station 35 on a vehicle accident in the 100 block of Hurley Road in West Brandywine Township. Ambulance 41-1 (Washington Hose-Coatesville) was the EMS assist. After securing hazards, Engine 2 returned to Station 35.\

At 2PM, Engine 2 was dispatched to cover Station 35, assisting Martin’s Corner (Station 34) on a reported appliance fire in the 100 block of Lentz Way in West Caln Township. Engine 4-9-2 and Engine 34-1 arrived on the scene simultaneously, with the fire out on arrival by use of an extinguisher. The rest of the responding units were canceled, and Engine 2’s crew assisted 34 with removing smoke from the residence, and was then released from the scene. Shortly afterwards Station 35 cleared the garage fire and advised that Engine 2 could return to White Horse. Engine 4-9-2 cleared Lentz Way at 2:47PM.\
