On the rainy and windy evening of Monday, April 20, units from White Horse and several neighboring fire companies converged on a farm in the 5300 block of Old Philadelphia Pike in the Salisbury Heights section of Salisbury Township for a rural fireground water movement drill.\
\
The drill was a simulated structure fire and units were dispatched in increments to simulate an actual response to a fire. The drill consisted of flowing large caliber water lines using fold-a-tanks and a drafting engine being supplied by a shuttle of 12 tankers to keep the water flow moving. There was a tanker loop setup with 2 fill sites using Engine 4-2-2 at one site and Engine 4-5-2 at the other. This was done to facilitate keeping the tankers filled so they can dump their water into the fold-a-tanks at the end of the farm lane. Engine 4-4-1 and Hose 4-3 supplied Engines 4-9-1 & 4-9-2 at the farm. Traffic 33 and Squad 4-9 provided traffic control. Engine 33-2 stood by at Station 4-9 in case of emergencies.\
\
Once the drill was completed all units returned to Station 4-9 for a critique, refreshments, and fellowship among the crews before returning to their respective stations.\
\
We would like to thank all of the neighboring companies for their continued assistance, and to the farm owners for the use of the property.\
