At 5:07 AM on the rainy morning of Thursday, July 24, Station 4-9 was dispatched to the 6100 block of Old Philadelphia Pike (Route 340) in the Cains section of Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident.\

Arriving units found a pickup truck overturned with heavy front impact against a utility pole, witch was snapped off in the collision. The utility companies were advised of the situation. \

The single occupant of the pickup declined transport to a hospital, and Ambulance 4-9 cleared the scene after obtaining a refusal.\
\
The final Station 4-9 units were released by the Pennsylvania State Police, and returned to station at 5:58 AM
