Overturned vehicle on Churchtown Road

At 10:56PM on Sunday, July 12, Station 4-9, along with Medic 9, were dispatched to the intersection of Churchtown and Cambridge Roads in the Cambridge section of Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident.\

Lancaster County 911 advised they were contacted by the Pennsylvania State police requesting Fire & EMS for a vehicle that possibly rolled in a field, with unknown injuries.\

Arriving units found a single sedan approximately 100 feet off the roadway overturned in a cornfield, with the occupant out of the vehicle.\
\
Engine 4-9-1 and Squad 4-9 arrived and controlled scene hazards, while Ambulance 4-9 arrived and checked out the driver of the vehicle, whom fortunately was not seriously injured. Medic 9 was canceled on his arrival by the Ambulance.\
\
Pennsylvania State Police investigated the incident.\

Station 4-9 units cleared the scene at 11:39 PM
