“New” Ambulance for White Horse

Some area residents may have noticed a “new” ambulance in Salisbury Township lately. \

Our own ambulance is out of service with mechanical issues, and in order to provide those in our coverage area with the best possible service, we have rented a reserve ambulance from Susquehanna Valley EMS (Station 7-7). It will be staffed with personnel from White Horse until our own ambulance returns to service.\
\
An interesting side note: The reserve ambulance was one of several units from Pennsylvania deployed to assist with relief efforts in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.\
