Engine handles minor collision

At 8:18PM, on Wednesday July 14, Station 4-9 was dispatched to the intersection of Cains and Buena Vista Roads in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident standby. Lancaster County 911 reported a two vehicle accident with no injuries, the caller stated that the fire department was needed for fluids in the roadway.\

Engine 4-9-1 arrived on the scene and controlled scene hazards and removed the fluids and debris from the roadway; the Fire Police also assisted with traffic control until the vehicles could be removed. The PA State Police investigated the incident. Units cleared the scene at 9:05PM.
