At 6:34 PM on Thursday, January 2, as a heavy snowfall covered eastern Pennsylvania, Station 49 was dispatched to the intersection of Churchtown and Beaver Dam Roads in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident.
Lancaster County 911 was reporting a two vehicle accident. Units arrived and controlled scene hazards and assessed the drivers of both vehicles, both of whom declined transport to a hospital.
After the incident was investigated by the State Police, the 49 units cleared the scene and returned to station.
