At 7:36AM on Friday, December 11, Station 4-9, along with Truck 4-2 (Gap) were dispatched to the 300 block of Spring Garden Road in Salisbury Township for a chimney fire.\

Deputy 4-9 (J. Beyer) arrived on the scene with a chimney fire that had extended into the walls, and assumed Command 4-9.\
\
Responding units arrived on the scene and went to work, extinguishing the fire in the walls, removing debris, and cleaning the chimney of creosote.\
\
The fire was placed under control at 8:10, with units clearing the scene at 8:59AM.\
