It is deep sadness that we pass the word of the Line Of Duty death of Captain Chris Good of the Good Will Fire Company (Station 52), of the West Chester Fire Department in Chester County.\
\
Captain Good (age 36) had been operating at a working house fire late yesterday afternoon in West Goshen. Following the fire, he went to work at his nearby career Firefighter job at ArcelorMittal Steel. This morning he returned to West Chester to participate in some fire department pre-plan duties and then went home. While home the Captain suffered a medical emergency, EMS responded but their efforts were unsuccessful.\
\
The Officers and Members of the Salisbury Township Fire Company #1 wish to extend our deepest condolences to his family, wife Jessica and his 3 kids, along with the Goodwill Fire Company, ArcelorMittal Steel Fire Department, and the entire West Chester Fire Department.\
\
Captain Good was very well known and beloved in the county and throughout Pennsylvania and will be greatly missed
