Car collides with guardrail in White Horse

At 3:55AM on Friday, April 9, Station 4-9 was dispatched to the 5500 block of Old Philadelphia Pike (Route 340) for spill control. Units arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle into the eastbound guardrail, blocking the eastbound travel lane with fluids down on the roadway.\

The assignment was upgraded to a vehicle accident, and Ambulance 4-9 was dispatched to the scene. Fortunately, the female driver was not injured, and refused treatment and transport to a hospital. Units stood by until a tow truck could remove the vehicle from the scene\

The PA State Police investigated the incident. \
