Vehicle versus pole on Mount Vernon Road

At 1:31 PM on Sunday, January 6th, Ambulance 4-9 & Engine 4-9-1 were dispatched to the 400 block of Mount Vernon Road in the village of Buena Vista in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident.\

Responding units found a one vehicle with three occupants that struck a utility pole, with wires down. Ambulance 5-2-1 (Christiana) was dispatched at 1:31 to assist. Ambulance 4-9 and Ambulance 5-2-1 each transported one patient to a local hospital.\

Engine 4-9-1 cleared the scene, and Station 4-9 Fire Police remained on the scene until PPL Electric could respond to the scene and assume responsibility for the pole and wires.\
