Two-alarm dwelling fire in Paradise Township

At 6:25PM on Monday, April 12, the Paradise-Leaman Place Fire Company (Station 4-7), along with mutual aid companies, were dispatched to the 3000 block of Lincoln Highway East in Paradise Township for a dwelling fire. \

At the time of dispatch, Squad 4-9 was enroute to Station 4-7 to participate in an agricultural rescue training program. After arriving and confirming that the training class was delayed due to the fire, the Squad contacted Command 4-7 and advised available manpower if needed. Command accepted and advised to report to staging. Squad 4-9 arrived on the scene at 6:47, which was a less than a minute away from Station 4-7. The Squad cleared the scene at 7:54 and returned to Station 4-7 for an abbreviated classroom session.\

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall is investigating the incident. The final units cleared the scene at 10:19PM\
