At 6:41PM on Monday, February 9, just prior to the monthly business meeting, Ambulance 4-9 was dispatched to assist the Gap Fire Company (Station 4-2) at the intersection of Route 30 & Longview Lane in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident with entrapment involving a tractor trailer. \

Deputy 4-2 (Wenger) arrived on location to find one passenger vehicle under a tractor trailer cab with one heavily entrapped. Crews arrived and immediately began pt. extrication and packaging. After thier patient was removed and packaged, Ambulance 4-9 departed the scene enroute to the trauma center, setting up a rendezvous with Medic 100 (Lancaster EMS). Ambulance 4-9 returned to station shortly after 8PM.\
