Recently, on Saturday, November 21st, the Salisbury Township Fire Company #1, along with members from the Garden Spot Fire & Rescue, conducted a walk thru tour of Mountain View Terrace.
Located on Springville Road (Route 897) in the northern part of Salisbury Township, Mountain View Terrace is a part of the Welsh Mountain Home complex and is a new 36-unit apartment building that provides affordable housing for seniors 62 & older with lower than median income.
Facilities management gave the attending companies a tour of the facilities and grounds. Also apparatus placement was discussed and experimented with.
Thanks to the Welsh Mountain Home for the opportunity to tour the facilities, so that we may be better prepared in case of an actual emergency.
