Vehicle accident at Buena Vista & White Horse Roads

At 8:36PM on Tuesday, April 29th, Ambulance 4-9 and Engine 4-9-1 were dispatched to the intersection of Buena Vista and White Horse Roads in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident. \

Engine 4-9-1 responded in less than two minutes and was given information by Lancaster County 911 of a two vehicle collision blocking the roadway, with one person injured. Engine 4-9-1 arrived on the scene, and confirmed the report, and assumed command. Ambulance 4-9 arrived on the scene and transported one patient to a local hospital. One other person was not injured and refused transport to a hospital.\

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the incident. \

Station 4-9 Fire Police closed southbound White Horse Road at Route 340, and worked other traffic safely through the scene for the duration of the incident.\

The final units cleared the scene at 9:20PM.\
