SUV fire on Wertztown Road

At 4:25 PM on Saturday, April 26, Station 4-9 was dispatched to the 6000 block of Wertztown Road in Salisbury Township for a vehicle fire.\

Lancaster County 911 advised responding units that the reporting party was cutting the SUV apart and ignited the vehicle.\
\
Deputy 4-9 (J. Beyer) arrived on the scene and advised that Engine 4-9-1 could handle. Tanker 4-9 was then canceled. After arriving, Engine 4-9-1 deployed the front bumper handline to extinguish the fire.\

The final units cleared the scene at 4:55PM
