At 6:53PM on Sunday, March 27, Station 4-9 Fire & EMS, along with mutual aid, was dispatched to the intersection of Cambridge Road and Jacobs Road in Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident with entrapment.\

Lancaster County Communications advised of two vehicles and a buggy in the collision, with ten people involved. For this reason, a mass casualty response was dispatched. Units arrived to find a small coupe and a SUV involved only with no entrapment, a nearby buggy was not in the collision. After a size up of the scene and the injuries involved, the response was quickly downgraded to Station 4-9 fire and three ambulances and two medic units.\

Ambulance 4-9/Medic 9, and Ambulance 33-2/Medic 6-12-8 each transported one patient to a local hospital for treatment. All other persons in the collision refused treatment.\

The PA State Police investigated the incident.
