Vehicle Accident in Buena Vista

At 6:14 AM on Thursday, April 10, Station 4-9 was dispatched to the intersection of Buena Vista and Cains Roads in the Buena Vista section of Salisbury Township for a vehicle accident. The reporting party was reporting one vehicle on the embankment, with the driver out of the vehicle with minor injuries.\

Kinzer Fire Company Deputy Chief Anderson was in the area at the time of dispatch, arrived within a minute and confirmed the report.\
\
Engine 4-9-1 arrived on the scene, controlled hazards and assumed command. Ambulance 4-9 arrived and began patient care, and transported the driver to a local hospital. \

The Pennsylvania State Police investigated the incident.\
\
The final 4-9 units cleared the scene at 6:56 AM after the pickup was removed from the scene\
