On the evening of Thursday, September 10, Squad 4-9 traveled to Chester County Station 33 (Honey Brook) to take part in a homecoming parade for Station 33 Firefighter/EMT Bob Klinger, Jr. Bob has served the past year with the military in Iraq.\

Once at Station 33, Squad 4-9 met up with units from Honey Brook, Atglen, and Twin Valley Fire Companies. The procession left Station 33 and traveled to the Heatherwood Retirement Community and met up with the Glen Moore Fire Company. Once at Heatherwood, units lined up and departed for Bob’s development. Upon entering the development, units turned on their lights and sirens and paraded through the development to Bob’s house. Once at the Klinger home, firefighters and neighbors met with Bob and gave him a warm welcome home.\

The Officers and Members of the Salisbury Township Fire Company #1 would like to wish Bob Klinger Jr. a warm welcome back to the States, and a huge “THANK YOU” for protecting our country and our freedoms.\
