At 10:29 PM on the foggy rainy evening of Thursday, November 13, Ambulance 4-9 and Engine 4-9-1 were dispatched to the 300 block of Kauffroth Road in Salisbury Township for a Vehicle Accident Standby.\

Responding units were advised by Lancaster County 911 of a single vehicle off the roadway in the woods, after apparently striking the guard rail by the creek. Arriving units confirmed the report and the single occupant of the vehicle was not injured, and refused transport by Ambulance 4-9 to a hospital.\

The Pennsylvania State Police arrived and investigated the incident, and Blank’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.\

Station 4-9 Fire Police closed Kauffroth Road between Gault and Cambridge Roads during the incident.\
\
The final units cleared the scene at 12:10 AM.\
