Engine 4-9-2 attends Honey Brook Fire Co. Fire Prevention Open House

Shortly before 1 PM on Saturday, October 13, Engine 4-9-2 loaded up with a crew of 4 firefighters and headed to the Honey Brook Fire Company (Station 33) Fire Prevention Week Open House.\

Engine 4-9-2, along with Blue Ball Engine 3-2-2, were assigned to run any emergencies for Station 33. While on standby, Engine 4-9-2 and Engine 3-2-2 did run one emergency; an electrical fire on Pleasant View Road in Honey Brook Township. (please see separate news story)\

Station 33 had many displays for the public to view, including a showcase of fire apparatus that included all of Honey Brook’s units, Engine 4-9-2, Engine 3-2-2, Parkesburg Engine 28, and East Brandywine Ladder 49. \

Other displays included: a rapelling display from Ladder 49, a mock “house fire” response by Station 33, a visit from aeromedical helicopter SkyCare 1 while units were at the Pleasant View Road fire, as well as public information and fire prevention booths in the station.\

Engine 4-9-2 returned to White Horse shortly after 4PM.\
