2-alarm commercial building fire in Upper Leacock Township

At 11:09 PM on Sunday, July 20, Tanker 4-9 was dispatched as part of the second alarm assignment to assist the Witmer Fire Protective Association (Station 4-10) on a commercial building fire in the 2600 block of Stumptown Road in Upper Leacock Township. \
\
First arriving units arrived on the scene with a working fire. The business, which was a woodworking shop, was rapidly consumed by the fire. Water was shuttled by tankers from a nearby creek to the fire scene.\
\
The incident was placed under control at 12:29AM, and the final units cleared the scene at 4:05 AM.\
\
Due to a large number of area tankers being committed at the scene of the fire, Lancaster County 911 dispatched Engine 33-5 (Honey Brook) as a tanker to standby at Station 4-9 to cover the area at 11:30PM, and was released from the standby when Tanker 4-9 cleared the fire scene at 12:15 AM
