Congratulations to Garden Spot Fire Rescue on the delivery and housing of their triplet 2021 Pierce Enforcer pumpers.
Engine 49-2 attended the housing ceremonies on Saturday 10/16/21 at the GSFR midtown station. Various Garden Spot officers as well as several local politicians spoke and each Engine was pushed into the fire house in the traditional manner. After the ceremonies, tours of the station and all of the GSFR apparatus were held as well as fire engine rides and hotdogs and drinks were available to all attendees. Souvenirs were also available for purchase.
Each engine is identical to the other two so that crews are familiar with the layout of each engine. While each truck displays a department patch on the cab between the doors, they also display a station patch of its assigned station behind the rear door.
Engine 39-1 is assigned to the midtown station on East Main Street in New Holland.
Engine 39-2 is assigned to the west end station on West Main Street in New Holland.
Engine 39-3 is assigned to the Blue Ball station in East Earl.
We wish years of luck to GSFR with the triplets! |
