Old friend spotted in North Carolina

Our old 1997 Freightliner/New Lexington tanker was spotted online at its new home in Hiwassee Dam, North Carolina, sporting a new dark blue paint scheme
Ironically, this is our second tanker to find a home in North Carolina. Our 1985 GMC/Conestoga tanker found a home in Bakersville, North Carolina after a stay in Airville York County. Airville bought it from White Horse.
Hiwassee Dam is in Cherokee County, which is in extreme western North Carolina, bordering Tennessee and Georgia. Bakersville is also in Western North Carolina, north of Asheville. The towns are approximately 3.5 hours apart.
She’s now blue!
