By Safety Officer Christopher Eno
March 1, 2010

At 10:54PM on March 1, Tanker 4-9 was dispatched as part of the second alarm assignment to assist Station 4-1 (Bird-In-Hand) on a building fire in the 200 block of Mascot Road in Leacock Township.

First alarm units arrived on the scene with a cabinet shop well involved in fire and requested the second alarm. Tanker 4-9, along with five other tankers, transferred water from a nearby creek to the fire scene.

The fire was placed under control at 11:44PM. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall's office investigated the incident.

Tanker 4-9 cleared the scene at 12:04AM, with the final units clearing the scene at 4:03AM.
