February 20, 2010
On the morning of Saturday, February 20, Engine 4-9-2 traveled to Station 4-4 (Intercourse) for a fire training class.
During the class, at 9:52 AM, Station 4-4 was dispatched to assist Station 4-1 (Bird-In-Hand) on a two alarm barn fire in Leacock Township.
At 10:13 Engine 4-9-2 was placed by Lancaster County 911 on the transfer assignment to Station 4-4, from the training assignment.
With the training class cut short by the fire, Engine 4-9-2's crew entertained themselves by watching a movie on TV and socializing.
No calls for service were recieved during the standby. Engine 4-9-2 was released by Command 4-1 at 12:39PM and returned to Station 4-9.
