Full Company on 2 alarm barn fire on Buena Vista Road

At 6:36 PM on Sunday, May 10, Station 49 Fire & EMS was dispatched to assist the Gap Fire Company on a barn fire in the 5400 block of Buena Vista Road in Salisbury Township.
Units arrived with a working fire in a horse barn and shop, commenced fire attack and suppression, and requested the second alarm be transmitted. Companies from the area all worked cooperatively to bring the situation under control, with the fire placed under control at 7:34 PM.
The final 49 units cleared the scene at 9:48 PM.
Thanks to Garden Spot Fire Rescue and Caernarvon Fire Company for covering out station while we were at the fire.
